Interview Seoul – arte urbano | Art Is Trash

Who is behind Art Is Trash?

Behind the name Art Is Trash stands Francisco de Pájaro, a street artist working in Barcelona – this video was published on 2019-10-10. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. The works are deliberately short-lived and usually vanish with the next garbage collection. Beyond Barcelona, his trash art has also appeared in cities such as London and New York.
