Arte urbano video – February 2017 | Art Is Trash

Who is behind Art Is Trash?

Behind the name Art Is Trash stands Francisco de Pájaro, a street artist working in Barcelona – this video was published on 2017-02-09. His canvas is whatever people throw away: cardboard, bin bags, broken chairs and old mattresses become grinning characters within minutes. That makes every figure a one-off: once the street is cleaned, it is gone, and often only videos like this one remain. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market.
